Some weddings are grand affairs, with hundreds of guests, elaborate venues, and months (if not years!) of planning. And then there are those beautiful, intimate weddings that feel like a warm hug—just the couple, their nearest and dearest, and a setting that holds special meaning. Kerry and John's wedding at Clevedon Pier was exactly that.
The sun was shining, there was a soft sea breeze, and Clevedon Pier—one of the most charming spots around—was the perfect backdrop for their vows. With just a handful of their closest family and friends, it was a day that felt wonderfully personal, a celebration of love without any fuss. A few fishermen were scattered along the pier, completely unbothered by the fact that a wedding was unfolding nearby. It added to the charm, making the whole thing feel even more down-to-earth and real.

After the ceremony, Kerry and John poured sand into a glass as a sign of unity then they celebrated with canapés and drinks, soaking up the atmosphere and sharing laughs with their guests. After group shots I took Kerry and John on a walk to get some natural couple shots. The wind played with Kerry’s hair and dress, adding a bit of drama to the shots.
We then took a little wander down to the beach for some more pictures— waves rolling in the background, and that golden afternoon light making everything feel a bit magical. It was the kind of relaxed, joyful energy that makes for the best wedding photos.

To top it all off, we made a stop at the café where Kerry and John first met. It was such a lovely, full-circle moment—capturing them in the place where their journey began.
There was no big fanfare, no over-the-top details, just two people in love, surrounded by the ones who matter most. And honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Congratulations, Kerry & John! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and many more windy but wonderful days by the sea.
